Just a Little Confused :)

Hi all,

So I have a new idea I want to run with, but I'm very confused how it will all come together.

Essentially, would this work:

I was gonna purchase a theme:

Cosmetico Theme I want to purchase

Or something similar, basically a store theme.

Most of them are "WooCommerce" themes, my understanding of WooCommerce is you sell your own products.

Then I found:

THIS PLUGIN

Can I use the plugin, and my theme, together with WooCommerce, to create a stunning and hopefully successful Affiliate site making comission from Amazon?

Thanks

I was a big buyer and fan of Themeforest until I purchased a product that was incomplete in which they never responded to my Customer Tickets. I decided to finally go to Paypal to open a dispute and Themeforest/Envato ended up freezing my account (including the money credits I had in the account). Apparently it's standard for them to freeze accounts and shut them down when you open up a Paypal dispute. Well none of this would happen if they addressed their tickets in the first place. Anyways, just my 2 cents about them. I'm still waiting on the Paypal decision (about a month later).

The theme looks good, I would suggest getting it from somewhere else. : )

      Hey,

Thankyou for the response, however it doesn't answer my question at all.

Can I use this theme, for Amazon Affiliation, rather than selling my own products. If so, do I need the plugin, or will it work anyway?

      Once again, thanks.

WordPress is pretty flexible, and most themes will work with Amazon. When I used to be an Amazon affiliate I simply used their plug ins and they worked fine. There are so many third party plugins out there and they mostly work with WP.

I'm not sure about that particular theme but I don't see why it wouldn't work if it's dedicated for WP.

If you're going to do any sort of Amazon affiliate, the best approach would be to do a review site, and focus down in one particular hot niche.

I wouldn't focus just on Amazon, there are so many CPA offers out there that can be more profitable than being an Amazon affiliate. It all depends on your overall plan and goals.

    All the best.

      Hi,
      Thanks again

I've tried clickbank etc, but I just had no results. Also I frankly HATE clickbank, and don't think anything good of it.

Also, I've tried Amazon affiliation before, using a slightly small niche, and had $78 earnings last month. Which gave me a bit of confidence and will power to try again.

This time I wanted to try it a little differently, by MANUALLY inputting all of my items, and writing nice and unique descriptions for it. But I don't know how this theme will work with Amazon products.

The theme will work fine. It does not matter what theme you use for amazon. you build a site on any theme or platform you want then add the links.

The only issue you might have is if you put the prices on the product pages. Amazon sometimes has a problem with that, especially if prices change and you do not

Nope, you can sell other's products with just WooCommerce. Use "external" product type and simply enter the product URL.
