As far as I know it's fine to embed someone else's videos on your website. They automatically get credit that way.

In terms of using the video to create articles that would depend how you plan to do it.

If you're simply using the video as one of many info sources to do research and then create your own original article I don't see why anyone would have a problem with that.

If on the other hand you're planning to just transcribe someone else's video and post the transcript on your website then it's would be a good idea to ask the original content creator for permission.

When in doubt the "do unto others as yo would have them do unto you" will serve as a good guide.

    Good luck

Yes. If the video is embeddable, then yeah, you can.

Here are a few more tips you can use by using embeded videos on your blog:

    1. You can add some Adsense ads around it. But also include your own original text.
Google Adsense doesn't like if the only content on your site is a Youtube video.

    2. You can find a premium video, embed it on your website and use content locking.
Anyone who want to watch the video will have to complete a survey to unlock it.
And you will make money from that.

    3. Find a video with a plugin or a software that has an affiliate program and embed that video on your site. And of course don't forget to include your affiliate link below the video

I do this regularly on my own blog where I think it will add interest or value for my readers.

If an embed code is included, that means the creator of the video has no objection to other people posting it on their own sites. And it's highly unlikely that there would be any objection to writing an article based on it, unless perhaps you are slagging it off or using it in a way entirely contrary to what the original creator intended.

It is a courtesy to credit the creator of the video, and for the benefit of your readers you would almost certainly want to do so. It is not a legal obligation, though.

As long as you don't download re-upload the video as your own and use the given embed-code --*you're golden! It's a good way to spice up your own posts as well as giving the creator of the video some new views.

When someone uploads a video to Youtube, they have the option of allowing embeds or not, so it's up to each person.

As others have said, if the embed code is available, the person that uploaded the video is giving permission for you to embed it. And number of embeds is likely a ranking factor on Youtube/Google, so embedding helps them get more views, as well as better ranking.

I think if the embed code is there

then that gives you a permission to use

their video for your relevant content.

Some people make better videos than others....
