Default Question about RSS feeds

I have a question about RSS feeds. No one has beeen able to give me a definite answer so far. Here is my question:

In a WordPress blog, under the Reading setting, there is an option to have the RSS feed display either a summary or the full text. Should I choose full text or summary? Which one of the two is better?

Any help in answering this question would be appreciated.

Thank you,

Robert

I usually give the summary so that visitors will have to come to my site to read the rest of the article. As long as I write something eye catching at the beginning, it will lure people from their email to my site where they can click on ads/buy stuff.

From my experience...

If your using RSS, you need to be submitting those feeds to the RSS directories.

Many of the biggest RSS directories to rank your feed in terms of content, and the content is determined by the amount of text the feed contains.

Full text articles seem to rank higher, and get more exposure from the directories. I use full text, and it has driven tons of traffic from the RSS sites.

As a link building strategy, full feeds has worked well for me.

Just set the max articles to 10 or less in a feed, if the content is good people will visit your blog for more.

Just my 2...

I choose summary, but need to have attractive title or intro, I agree with James.

But Eric give a good input to me. I will try that out.

Hey, great question. I'm new to WF - thanks for the good thoughts in your answers, too! I've used only summaries, but will definitely try full now.
