Quick Craiglist TOS question

It says the following on the "partial list of goods, services, and content prohibited on craigslist":

- affiliate marketing; network, or multi-level marketing; pyramid schemes

Am I missing something here in my understanding of all this?

Thanks!

Seems you have all those covered on the site in your sig. Paid to click and other related nonsense is not only a waste of time and money, but can get you marked as "one of those guys."

Just for the record, I made $400 just from my referrals alone last month in one of the paid to clicks.

Anyway, getting back to the topic. That I not only got the impression from some of the discussions in the forum that affiliate ads were allowed in craigslists but also that I've seen some in CL.

Thus the purpose of the op in this thread.

    Thanks again!

If you have seen affiliate ads on CL it does not mean they are allowed. It means somebody posted an ad it was not deleted (yet).

You can however post affiliate ads on CL if you do it smart. Or better said, you can get traffic for affiliate products through ads on craigslist.

I have used Craigslist to send to my squeeze page and then sold them through my list. I have seen many people sell affiliate products on Craigslist but it is obviously against there TOS.

Cut the lemonade stand crap and buy advertising. No serious marketer scrapes the bottom of the barrel for traffic from craigslist, forum posts, youtube comments, etc...

People on craigslist are looking for something cheap. Usually looking for a job or used furniture, apartments etc. Does that fit the kind of person you are looking for?
