Affiliate links on WF blog

Hey,

Can you add affiliate links to your personal WF blog? Or is that restricted to classified ad area only?

    That is where the real power is Anoosh, find out how to use it properly to your advantage.

    To answer your question, it does not specifically say you cannot, but there is enough in the rules there to make it apparent it is probably frowned upon.

      LOL, it's always funny to come on here and ask a question because you get some comment like this?

      Did I EVER mention spam???? No, you did.

      I simply asked if it was allowed to put links on the blog.. I don't know what makes you think if I add a link to a blog it immediatly makes it worthless spam as if I have no idea what I am doing?

      I have been marketing long enough to know how this works. Thanks for the tips, though.

        Anoosh, don't take it personally. If something you haven't seen yet makes a noise like a duck, wouldn't it be reasonable to think it might just be a duck?

        The main reason affiliate links are not allowed in the main forum section is people abuse them. So the powers that be are forced to ban them. Ever since, there's been a parade of folks trying to find ways around the rules.

        To be honest, I mistook you for one of those types myself when I read your opening post.

        Maybe someone official will drop a definitive answer in here.

    You know what guys. I must admit, maybe I shouldn't have even asked that question here..

    Maybe it should have been common sense with all the spam that floats around here... Heck, my WSO sales page even got hit with spam one time... (fortunately, it got cleared up super fast thanks to moderators like Alexa)

    Anyway, I got the answer to my question and a bit more.. I appreciate the insight here guys..
