social bookmarking question
At first I used sharethis.com as it had a blogspot widget that made it easy to use.
Then I noticed that this forum uses AddThis.com
OK... there are a lot more SB sites there...
Then I found out about Socialmarker.com
semi automated... and a few different SB sites
Now I just found Social bookmarking services poster and community websites submitter: digg.com reddit.com netscape.com propeller.com Del.icio.us Stumbleupon.com etc.
The SB sites that are on SocialPoster that are not on the first three I just mentioned have a peculiar method of karma that I don't understand.
When one clicks on profile, one finds they have no where to list your url.
There is a drop down menu with settings that I suspect are:
you can't post a profile until you do X
I just don't know what X is?
am I to understand that we're to vote for someone elses stuff a certain number of times before we've earned the right to leave our link?
it seems to be a forced participation, which sounds like a good idea to me but there is no clear instruction as to what that participation is required of us.
The first one down the list of SocialPoster that has this feature is socialogs.com
it appears that there are a few others like it, perhaps they're running the same script on their domains...
