Weird Clickbank order form

Secure Order Form

If you exit the window, you'll be promoted with a popup to stay or leave. If you click stay, you get redirected to a fake order form thats just an image as shown below.

Than after a few sections it redirects to the real order form.

Does anyone know why this is?

You will see that on all those types of javascript pop-ups.

They have an image for the background while the initial "wait don't leaves" pop up comes. This first pop-up is by the script from the web page owner.

After you click "Okay" you get a "Leave/Stay" pop-up. This is the security pop-up from your browser to alert you that a script is asking you to stay on the page.

In many cases the image chosen for the first pop-up is a sales preview of the new downsell offer if you stay. In this case- since you are leaving from an order form- the image used is an order form.

My guess is they are doing this because there is a delay of some kind with the redirect they're doing and rather than saying 'wait' or something else, they are showing the order form.

Whatever the reason is these guys are notorious testers and I'm sure they've tested what they're doing to increase conversions.
