Can CL work for outsorcers?

I tried to sell a domain name on there without success.

I have never started Craigslist for my promotion but I have bookmarked this page and waiting for expects to reply on this thread.. but I think they are busy on their own promotion itself..

Craigslist traffic is pretty low-quality and not worth it in my opinon. I'm sure there are people making good money with Craigslist traffic, but personally I don't want to clean my list every single day, and get frequent spam complaints from these people... I think you're better off with other traffic sources, although that's only my opinion.

I've never made money with my info-products on craigslist. Didn't try too hard to market them on there too hard - or at all. But when i place tangible items on there, like my 32-inch flatscreen, or xbox... i get alot of page views and inquiries. Doesn't take a rocket scientist. It's kinda like ebay in a way.

Haven't really used CL but I do know anyone that intends to use it should have a way of protecting themselves against being "ghosted". Once you're ghosted, posts from your IP address are pretty much invisible to everyone else. Here's some tips: 4 Killer Tips to Prevent Craigslist Ghosting

Craigslist definitely isn't the beast it used to be. Do you see the site in the news any more? I personally wouldn't try to sell directly on CL unless I had my own business and was offering a service. Nothing wrong with doing that. What there is a problem with is thinking you can sell affiliate products on the site. Those days are long gone. You'd be much better off trying to build a list using the site. How successful you are depends on what you are trying to do with the site. Don't think you can just make money by posting ads on the site.

Getting traffic is not easy. CL use to be a great way. However, the hyper links are not click able any more. OK so I get a lot less traffic now. Well, I still use back page. Like it does allow click able hyper links in the body copy. Still, a lot less people are using back page. Maybe, that is good for me. Also, I have an easy to remember six letter dot com domain name. People are lazy, what can we say.

I use it every day for leads. Just write out a three liner and bold your link underneath your ads and you're good.

I think the more rules and regulations and less freedom always leads to one thing and always without exception and that is doom. This is a rule that has never ever failed in history. So I think if CL keeps putting restrictions if it goes to far will lead to them loosing to someone new who is more pro freedom like they once use to do which is why they made it.

Making money on Craigslist is not easy these days, I've tried it and so far the results are not desirable as my ads gets deleted very quickly after going live. (This could be due to some people hiring PVAs to "professionally" flag ads to reduce the competition though)

I would suggest that you try out other classified ads sites if you want to earn money from these sites. Although they have less traffic, if you combine a few of these sites together, you get the same traffic or even bigger traffic than certain Craigslist cities. Plus, with less traffic, you will have less competition and your ads gets to stick longer on the first page which gets you more views and subsequently more clicks to your website.

I have tried around 100+ classified ads myself and I have reduced it to a few handful where I found that the classified ads that I posted there are high-converting. (Sorry, can't share.)

If you don't want to try out these sites yourself, consider hiring a PVA to do the dirty job for you while you reap the profits off these classified ads.

I am doing pretty good with Craigslist as a place for Lead Magnets for a Big Ticket program. Combined with some other filtration processes, I get about 100 - 150 leads for every $25 sponsored ad that I post in the sales job section. Of the leads I get, I seem to be getting a conversion for every two campaigns that I run, but the results more than pay for the campaigns.

You must accept the CL rule & regulation. You can choose the Service category. In the service Category there are the Computer section. You can choose this section. If there is any software section, it would better for you. NO Plagiarism/ No copy paste. So you need to rewrite the post again & again. You also should choose the city where freelancer is huge quantity.

How many ads a day can you post on Craigslist? That always makes a huge difference in how you can make money on there.

Craigslist rules change so often I do not use ut to market anymore. At one time I sold IM services on there successfully.

I agree CL is a pain now, your ad gets ghost within minutes of it going live. However I saw this one alternative where one person is using their email address as an auto responder, and setting up your links through there.

I have never had success with Craigslist, its good for buying stuff and selling in my eyes. The people that go there are pretty cheap, I guess that's the idea. I would not waste anytime there.

Different kind of seller and different kind of buyer on Craigslist. It is a blue-collar type of environment. Once you get that down you can make good money. My two sense!
