Is it possible / How to monetize inspirational quotes niche?

Hi everyone,

I love inspirational quotes and just wanted to know if you think it is possible to make money from them (and if you do, HOW)? :confused:

Should it be an inspirational quotes website with Google adsense ads? or with affiliate products (what affiliate products would fit such a website) ? Or maybe a giveaway eBook with beautiful quotes as an optin gift (Again... What will I use the list for)? :confused:

I would love to hear what you have in mind...

    You could use Inspirational Quotes to give Visitors Inspiration to Purchase a Product

    But, Yeah, You could give away a free ebook with e.g Top 10 Famous Quotes, Top 10 Beautiful Quotes etc, and see which converts best for you.

    You can then email your list general offers, that appeal to everyone.

    I personally wouldnt get into this Niche, There are much better/easier Niches to target.

      I know Ryan (and would be happy to hear your suggestions...), it's just that I like quotes so much, I thought I could also earn s'thing from this hobby...

      If I was you, I would go for this, building list is the awesome start on this niche, because writing blogs will not give you good faster results..

      Yeah, I love quotes as well but if you are following what you love, that's fine, but I do not seems to see too much money in that niche unless you add a unique twist to it. Lets keep thinking, we may come up with something.. Keep the post open, will come back.

        Take a look at how everyone else is doing their site and do it differently. I've seen many inspirational quote sites that are all the same. Make it unique. Maybe mix in affiliate travel/vacation products or self improvement products. Main thing is to be different offer more value than the next guy and build your list.

    You can also monetize your site with amazon ebooks that have to do with inspiration or bettering yourself.

    You can also monetize it by adding relevant clickbank products that would be related to that niche along with kontera ads, CPA offers, or Google AdSense.

    Or all of the above Think outside the box

    Adsense ads should work.
    As entrepreneurjay suggested, you could try and add links to self-help books on Amazon.
    If the traffic is high enough, I would also consider rotating affiliate products in Weight loss, Dating or Bizz-op niche.

    If they are looking for inspiration, most likely that could be related to business, losing weight maybe?

    It's worth of testing these ideas.

      I have always thought that something wrapped around a quote-a-day autoresponder sequence word work in a niche like this.

        Join the All posters affiliate program. They have hundreds of inspiral posters. And you can use the graphics, which helps make your site more attractive rather than a barren wasteland strewn with nothing but text.

        You may not earn as much with the posters as other types of monetizing (although you might), so do both.

          Google affiliate programs for well known people in the self help arena. I believe Nightingale-Conant has an affiliate program. So do some of the individuals you may be quoting, i.e. Tony Robbins, Jim Rohn, etc....

          I had this idea myself a while back, but I haven't found time to pursue it.

          Thanks Sunil, and as you correctly guessed, conversion rates for posters are EXTREMELY low (from experience), but they can add color and style to my website, that is for sure...

    It's definitely a niche that would benefit from Adsense.

    Also physical products: books of quotes, posters with inspiration quotes, calendars with inspiration quotes, self help books, etc. You can sell all those from Amazon or other affiliate sites. There are actually quite a few possibilities!

      The nightingale.com (Nightingale-Conant) publisher every day emails out an inspirational quote followed by a sales pitch for a product of theirs. I only stay on the list to read the quote every morning and delete. Tie this into the self-help niche and there is your market.
