Best US Virtual Bank Account (To Canada) Options...

Hi all,

I have stumbled upon a minor thing that I would like
to resolve as I would be paid MUCH quicker...

I want a virtual US bank account for a company to pay
me via direct deposit but I am in Canada...

What are the best options here?

    Check if that company is on the list that uses payoneer 'virtual' bank account.

    Other option is paypal.

    If payments are frequent and business good enough talk to your Canadian bank about opening an account in USD; or maybe incorporate in the US, but I can't advise you on that last one.

      Payoneer is a real option (see their rep above).

      Paypal is NOT an option... and if you don't have exact knowledge about it - do not post stupid things! If you (your business) is in Canada, you can have a zillion USD bank accounts - since the Canadian bank regulations allow it! - yet the smarta$$es from Paypal will always convert your USD funds into CAD before withdrawing them to a Canadian bank. No matter what kind of account(s) you have.

      I have gone through this with Paypal and different bank accounts (business and personal) at various Canadian banks and we always ended up in the same way: Paypal will never ever send USD to a bank located in Canada. Period.

      Do you have proof to the contrary? :rolleyes:

          I'm located in Spain and was faced with a similar issue. I've recently started using Payoneer. You may have additional options in Canada, but this was the best that I found. It's superquick and easy to use.

    I would just like to point out that we've recently updated our US Payment Service (which allows you to receive payments from US companies).
    There is no longer a list, but you can get paid by any US company which meets our terms & conditions and has the option to pay via direct deposit (US ACH).

      I'll be grateful if you can rather help me get a USA bank account, i've a business & its registered by my name i also do have the EIN for it, but don't have an ITIN or SSN so as to be able to get a bank account, which is why i'm looking for someone to help me with this, please...

      irony of the situation is that ITIN could be obtained through IRS and when i'm approaching them for the same they're telling me i need to have a bank and when i'm approaching any of the banks, they are asking me for the ITIN to open an account.

    You can get direct deposit to a Canadian bank for most companies. No need to get a US bank account.

    My AdSense deposits go directly to my Royal Bank Canada account from Google.

    I reccomend to use payooner. You can receive direct deposit payment to your payooner account.

    Payoneer for sure. You can use their US payment service and get your money deposited into an virtual US bank account. You will receive a Master Card and you can use that to access your money.
