Opinions, Offering MLM service off of website

I won't go into to much about my website, but its basically a site that informs people of their personal rights: I wish to remain silent, I want a lawyer, etc. I have one issue though, there's not much I can offer advertising wise. I know of an MLM called legal shield that would fit perfect around my niche. Has anyone else done anything similar? How'd it work out?

    Legal Shield is an excellent company... my name is on a
    plaque in the hall of fame at the home office

    I don't think you'd have a lot of success promoting it on
    a website. It's the kind of product that really needs a personal
    conversation.

    Many have tried the website idea... what they got was a lot of
    people who had an immedate need for legal advice but who canceled
    very soon thereafter. With the Legal Shield business model that will
    cost you a lot of money unless you opt to take commissions as earned.
