What do you guys use while promoting an affiliate offer through youtube?Is it better to use link shortner or a redirect from a domain?Also is it possible that your account get banned while promoting an affiliate offer and if yes how can we avoid it?

    If you have a link in the description pointing straight to the affiliate offer your account might get banned. If you do it with many of your videos it most certainly will!
    The answer to that is to drirect the visitors to your review of the product on your website or blog...

      Thanks..I am not talking about putting refferel link directly.What if I put it as a shortner or using a redirect ?Is it still the same?

    its all good & better to link to a presell page. The conversions will be low to none If your youtube video sends them straight to a sales page with no presell.
