Hello everyone, This is my first post here. I started reading a lot about how to start with IM but I didn't manage to start yet. I tried few different methods but got no results back.

Can any of you guys help me get a start with IM. What do you recommend doing to start earning online.

Thank you

What do you need help with specifically? What didn't go too well for you the first few times? Did you pick a niche? Did you make a website? Did you send emails? Did you have a free offer? Did you get any traffic come to your site? Did you rely on SEO?

If I were you, I would:

    1. Save up around $100 and have it strictly for IM. That being said - don't blow it on something you don't really know much about.

    2. Pick a niche you want to dive into. Don't just go for any random niche -- make sure you can relate and are knowledgeable in the niche. Additionally, make sure you can see yourself running that website for many years. How can you do this? Make a list of things you are good at, and a list of things you are bad at. Once you have that list, read over the things you're good at and think of the potential that niche possesses. Just because you're good at it does not mean it's going to bring you money. The niche should solve a problem many people face, such as back pain relief. I would not recommend you enter a saturated niche, i.e. Internet Marketing

    3. Write several articles on that niche. Each article should be roughly 1,000 words in length and should attract your potential customers. These articles do not have to be SEO related, as long as you are able to market them (only market them once your website is set up).

    4. Find a free (or paid) WordPress theme that is simple and easy to work with. This requires no (or very little) knowledge in design (HTML, CSS), which makes your job much easier.

    5. Find a good opt-in form which suits your website and makes people want to subscribe to your emails. Through a little research you should be able to find a nice quality one which is free.

    6. With the niche you're website is based on, create a free report which that opt-in form will give out for free. Make sure the free report contains good, unique information that makes them want to not only read, but also remain situated on your list for a long term relationship.

    7. Find three products that you want to promote through your email marketing. These can be either affiliate products or your own - as long as they're worth the money. Clickbank is a common affiliate website which is filled of quality products ready for you to promote.

    8. Create a series of emails to send out to your list once they have subscribed.

    9. Once you have your articles, your free report and your website set up, purchase a domain and hosting to put your website online.

    10. Purchase Aweber which will control your email marketing.

    11. Advertise your articles through places such as EzineArticles and other means. Make sure these articles have already been published on your website prior you submitting them on other websites.

This is roughly what I would do if I were in your position. Make sure you build a relationship with your customers and ensure they're getting both free and paid products which both have a huge amount of value. As soon as you promote a product with little quality, you will see a decrease in your list.

    1. Tally up what you like, what you are interested in and what you know.
    2. Get a Paypal account.
    3. Sign up to different affiliate networks like Jvzoo, clickbank, etc.
    4. Go to the Market places on your networks and find related products to your interests.
    5. Research the product and service and make sure it is of good quality and provides value to the end customer. If you would use it, then someone else would too.
    6. Get your affiliate links
    7. Cloak your links (optional)
    8. Start by using your social networks.
    9. Look into different ways to market.

So lets say your into Battlefield 4 which is now a hot game, and you are an avid gamer. You look on the networks for a product related to Battlefield 4 and find a info product named "Secrets of Battlefield 4".

To do it right, ask for a review copy, or read other peoples reviews, or buy it. Get a feel of the product or service.

If you make a sell, then you got a winner. Scale your marketing on it. Now look for another product. Rinse and repeat. Try to set up as many streams of income that you can handle. Like a fishing treble line.

Start with niche selection and give it the effort it deserves; it is often the difference between success and failure

What topic do you like to talk about in IM. Find a few keywords related to it, see the traffic volume and competition. Start a website using WP and start blogging. This will get you started very fast instead of doing all types of stuffs. Improve your blogging, keywords research, products and traffic skills from there.

    Hello and WELCOME!

For me it would be to BUILD AN EMAIL LIST.

I know it's said again and again by so many here but I can talk
    from personal experience.

There's no need for me to give you a ton of info and leave you feeling
    completely OVERWHELMED.

You'll become a "Jack of all trades" and a master of NONE that way.

Look at building your own email list of BUYERS at least if you are
    going to do anything else.

Master this and you'll never want to do anything else.

    All the best
    Gavin
