MOW Popup - Am I missing something

I've been looking for a really good popup plugin that will do a lot of secific things I need.

There are some expensive ones out the that didn't seem to do everything I wanted.

I stumbled across (recommended in this forum) MOW popup. First of all it is brilliant and has EVERYTHING and more than I needed.

On top of that there seems to be an awful lot of time and effort that has gone into developing and updating it.

So why is it free?

Obviously I'm not complaining but there is obviously a reason for this... I just can't figure it out?

    Maybe for list building? Or there may be an upsell. But thanks for pointing this plugin because I am in need of such plugin.

    It's only free for one site. If you want to use it on more you have to upgrade.

    Also there is a link on the bottom that say "powered by MOWpop" (or something like that) and leads to their website. To get rid of that you need to upgrade.

    It looks awesome and yes there are footers and upsells but I found support an issue because it lacked any responses when requesting support. That's really sad when it appears that a whole bunch of effort went into the product up front. :confused:
