How to pick WSOs to promote to my list

I want to know how to pick good WSOs to promote to my list.

    The only real way to know for sure if a product is good or not is to buy it. :p

    Other than that, go off the reputation of the seller and the stated content. You can check stated EPCs and such, but be aware that those numbers can be manipulated.

    If you are asking what type of WSO you should promote, that depends on your list and the only way to find out what they like is to test.

    Your best bet is to buy it and go throw it

    this way also you will know exactly what is the product about so you will get edge above other affiliates and you will know exactly how to promote it

    for me i never promote a product without buying it.

    you can also ask the vendor for a review copy

    Is there any reason why the only logical answer wasn't a considered option?

    If you expect numeous amounts of people to buy, you should be more than prepared ot buy it yourself.

    Blind, machine gunning email affilliates tend to lose the battle real quick.

      You absolutely need to see the product first.

      Give some consideration to how your subscribers made it on to your list; did they sign up looking for information on a particular niche or topic? If so WSO's closely aligned to these niches and topics may be a good place to start. You should certainly look to start to segment your list too; separate your buyers from your freebies seekers and segment those by what type of offer or product they respond to. This way you'll have a better open rate and buy rate.

        Thanks for the suggestion of segmenting/separating buyers from freebie seekers. I hadn't thought about that. However, I did wonder if and how it can be done-to ensure your non-buyers don't end up getting free material that was meant to be purchased, etc.

      But based on the sales page(s), many WSOs sound good and convincing. One would probably end up buying dozens of WSOs a month to find out whether to promote it or not. Not to mention the execution time to try the methods or steps suggested.

      Although the purchaser can simply request a refund, doing so too often will trigger a red flag to sellers.

        .....but you'd be quite happy to have numerous people on your list take that risk over and over again?

        The product demands a review at the very least.

        Although the purchaser can simply request a refund, doing so too often will trigger a red flag to sellers.
        They shouldn't buy with a refund in mind.

        They should purchase using logic that some products will be of value whilst others won't secure in the knowledge that when they do come across a worthy product all investments have been worthwhile as part of a whittling process to find something that they can promote with accuracy and honesty.

        If you don't place priority in seeking value to promote, then you simply don't value your list.

    Completely agree that you need to buy the product yourself first to determine it's quality content. But before that, if you want to find out if it's good for your list, how about simply asking them?
    I mean go ahead and email your list and say something like 'I'm looking for your opinion because I'm in the process of researching the absolute best WSOs on the market, and want to know what is the 1 topic you'd like to learn more about. That way I can do the legwork and find you the best available products.'

    You just may find your list loves that you've asked their opinion, and you'll get a ton of ideas to do a more focused search.
