If high-priced you mean Price > Value. then dont promote at all. but if Value > Price then promote away.

If the product is of excellent quality: no problem.

If you try to promote a mediocre product you will have problems whether the price is high or not.

Value is, indeed, more important than price.

    Example:

Moneymaking Product 1: $9.99. If you follow the method, you'll earn $50 per month,

Moneymaking Product 2: $999.99. If you follow the method, you'll earn $5,000 per month.

I always find it's good to give a mixture of prices, keeping in mind the bank sizes of your audience, but always remember to promote the best products you can find (or create).

Stop being afraid and test some higher dollar products to your list.

The best price is whatever converts the best after you've tested sending several different products to your list. All markets and lists will vary so you need to send various offers to find out what converts and what doesn't. A product's price isn't as relevant as what your EPC (earnings per click) is.

You can always ask your list what they think about high-priced products and/or are they able to afford such products. If the course is good you can explain to them why their investment would be justified.

It really doesn't matter as long as you can justify in your sales copy WHY it's high priced. It has too be unique & highly valuable content you're offering.

You'll also find that many big affiliates would prefer to promote a high priced product because it means more return for their efforts.

If they can sell 10 units of your product priced at $197 at 70% commission (minus clickbank fees), then they will make more in returns than selling 100 units priced at say $9.99.

Please keep in mind that the higher the price the conversion rate may go down. But, that is not bad.

    Example...

Which is better or possibly easier to do...

    2 products at $500.00 would equal ......$1,000.00

    200 products at $5.00 would equal ...... $1,000.00

It all equals out only it may be easier to make 2 sales over 200 sales to the right audience. Plus it is a lot more profitable to try to improve the conversion rate of the high ticket product than the low ticket product.

You do not have to improve the conversion very much to greatly improve your income with a high ticket product.

    Best regards,

  • People have money to spend and they'll either spend it on your product or some other frivalous item they see on late night TV. You just have to be bold enough to get there first and offer the product to your list.

Your prime focus should be on providing helpful info to your subscribers, so the prices of CN products should be irrelevant.

If you see a low priced on that you think will add value to reaching their goals, then offer it to them, ditto for high ticket products

You could establish a cutoff payout amount, a minimum commission that is worth your time to promote something. It could be $20, or $40, it's up to you. You'll have to figure out what commissions are too small for the effort you plan to put in.

If the price is right for the product, that's what people will expect to pay.

If your subscribers are targeted to that product, no problem.

If it really bothers you so much, then justify why this product is good for your list. Make sure they know you are not just offering the item only because it will earn you the most money but because that product is for their own good and will solve a need. This way you can appease your conscience by helping those on your email list, while earning money from sales.

If you have a list that is already warmed up to progressively buying higher ticket items from you then there is no reason to not introduce a higher priced item.

You'll just have to convince them why they need this product.

Justify the price and answer all of their objections that they may have before hand. Persuade them that they absolutely need this item and if they don't buy it then they'll be missing out.

Since they have already purchased other items from you seduce them into thinking that this product is the absolute solution to their problem.

another choice is membership products...where you are getting commission every month for 1 sale you made. most peopple will stay for 1-6 months or even years. PASSIVE INCOME.................ALL THE WAY....THAT IS HOW THE BIG BOYS DO IT.
    for example:
internet marketing membership sites, they charge $67 per month...you can get 75% of that every month...

    I'm currently promoting a $2k product

try not to concentrate too much on the price of the product, but focus on the features, advantages and benefits of the product to the person you are pitching it to

and if you truly believe in the product or service that you're promoting, then you'll always have a better chance of making a sale

As others have said, focusing on the price of the product is not the way to do it.

The single biggest criteria is the suitability of the product to your audience. if your audience is interested in saving money, and you promote a product on saving electricity, you will do well. On the other hand if you focus on $47 product in the Internet marketing niche you probably won't do so well.
