Is a .exe file from fiverr okay to open?
Here's the short version: a fiverr gig (book cover) is getting acrimonious (that's the long version). I had ordered the psd with the gig and the seller is saying the file is too large to send via normal fiverr channels and I need to download it from www sendspace.com. I didn't think anything of it and saved the file, but when I looked at it, it's not a .psd but a .exe file. I deleted it right away even though it passed the virus scan.
Has anyone ordered a 48 meg .psd file from fiverr before? Did you get it from fiverr, or is it normal to have to download it from a file sharing site? Is it normal to be a .exe? Shouldn't it be a .psd? The interior of the book is ready to go so I would really like to have the cover.
The bad part is this seller has done at least a dozen gigs for me in the past year and I don't know what went wrong with this gig unless he's subbing the work to someone else or gave the fiverr account to someone else. It sure doesn't seem to be the same guy.
Thanks for your help.
