When do posters cross the line?
I participate in another one of the forums here that has an active poster I've really, really come to dislike.
Whenever anyone asks about a source for something, he criticizes whatever suggestion is made and touts his own book which, according to him, is only worthwhile source of knowledge in this field.
I've used some of the suppliers he's criticized and had no problem with them, but I suspect people new to this field may be taken in by his long authoritative-sounding posts.
The forum is becoming nothing but an advertisement for his book.
Is there a way to address this without starting a flame throwing war?
