How do I monetize my NFL blog?

I've been writing a blog on the NFC West division of the NFL for about 6 weeks and I've gotten decent traffic (around 20k views) and I'm looking to monetize it now. I've established a network so that I can get viewers, but now I am looking to make something out of it.

I use Google Blogger and I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post the link to the my blog here. If I can, please let me know.

Thanks.

I was getting ready to say the same thing. There are also other websites that sell signed sports memorabilia that you might want to promote. Either that or you can offer to sell them some of your ad space.

The easiest and fastest way is to go to clickbank and find some products there and post a few banners on your site. Thats one way! You could rent out the banner space and depending on your traffic you could charge around $400 per month, per banner. Better yet, contact the NFL and tell them you have a website that gets such and such amount of traffic and google search from these keywords and they'll pay you a lot, lot more than 400 lousy bucks.

There is a huge amount of money in selling football helmets and sports memorabilia online.
During the co-op that I was a part of we were clearing over $200 per day for some pro football teams selling helmets by dropshipping.

    Good luck.

    Hi,
Put your niche in Google's search bar and type in your niche/affiliate. Example "weight loss"/affiliate or go to Clickbank, Wolfstorm media, or Commission Junction.

Good luck and be careful when using a FREE blog. The content you put on it is not your own and you could be shut down at any time for no reason at all. You don't want to go through all of the trouble to monetize it, start making money and then boom, no blog.
Believe me, it happens all the time. I have read many posts where a free blog was shut down and they don't even know why.
    Good Luck, though.

One more thing I forgot to add, be careful when selecting a domain name, because the nfl definitely send cease and desist letters on domains using any of their trademarks.

I also completely agree with the above post. If you are serious about this business create it on your own website.

Put an opt-in form on your site and offer a free and desirable small product to readers when they subscribe. For example, write a small ebook, or something else related to football that fans would find useful.

Then, keep posting useful and interesting posts and meanwhile, get an email service (mine offered the opt-in form I use on my site), and send follow-up emails to your list about once a week offering advice, free info, and updates from your blog. Once in a while, offer an affiliate product to them, but don't send too many "selling" emails.

Eventually, make your own product that your readers will love (to find out what to make, ask them!) and sell that to them.

I completely agree with geri! and one more thing you can also make a list of buyers by making an optin form hope you know about it.

Is there a way to migrate my blog posts to a new blog where I could be protected from unexpected shutdowns? If so, please afford me the details.

    Thanks.

Are you talking about keeping it on Blogger or creating your own domain?

Theres nothing wrong with your domain name as it stands. You are providing valuable content that doesnt look like its scraped from other sites so you should be ok.
