Website Design Business Owners - Please Critique My Pricing Structure & What's Yours?

Hi Warriors who are website design business owners, good morning to you from California!

I'm figuring that the *best* pricing structure is a "Good, Better, Best" scheme...

Good site: $795.00
Better site: $1795 (more custom, more features)
Best site: $2795 (totally custom, more stuff)

So, that would be the up-front flat-rate price scheme

What do you think of this? Too low? Too high? Just right?

Now, what do you also say about ongoing monthly fees - what is a good fee and what should that include?

THANKS FOR YOUR INPUT!

Best,
David

    Hi David,
Just throwing this out there, but you have to be careful when soliciting prices and feedback from other designers because it can be against the law in the United States (i.e. price fixing -- a lesson I learned some years ago from a web design list).

I'd recommend looking at other designers' websites and checking what prices they have listed up.

As for your price structure model, it sounds like a good plan--i.e. good, better, best--because it's simple and straight-forward.
