JV ZOO O.T.O Question

Hi,

I am looking to redirect opt ins to my list directly to an OTO page where I will offer my product for half price for one time only.

I already have it uploaded to JV Zoo for $49 and want to offer it once for $24 however do I have to upload it again to JV Zoo and state the price as $24 or is there a way of offering the already set up product for this cheaper one off price? I have looked at the JVZoo dashboard and can't seem to find the answer.

    You need to to duplicate your product and have it show at the lower price.

    Be sure to make sure it's not in the marketplace if it's not for general sale

    - unless of course you want affiliates to benefit for any referalls they send you - which is always a good idea

    I have a variety of special pages for my JV partners, which offer special discounts for friends of...... (insert JV Partners Name here)

    The thing is these pages all go to the same product

    I have asked JVZoo if there's a better way to do it, but at present there's not

    It works like a charm though even though there's a little extra work

    Meant to say, you'll find the duplicate product feature on the sellers dashboard at the bottom of your list of products

    Just select the product you wan to copy and it will go ahead and make it exactly the same - then go in and edit as you need

      I wish I had read your posts first as I have just duplicated it without seeing the Duplicate button on the Sellers Dashboard.

      Only 10 mins work anyway!

    Just a FYI .. what your describing is not a OTO, and OTO is generally a special offered after an initial purchase (called the front end product) .. you then offer them an extra product at the one time discounted price of XXX. Since they can only get this discount at that moment its a One Time Offer, hence OTO.

    What your describing is more likely to be considered an 'early bird' special. A discount off the normal price to people who opted in early. In this case you can duplicate the product OR you could just send them to the normal product, with it set at a reduced price. You then raise the price to the normal amount after the early bird special is over.

    The latter approach is actually the one I favor because it makes your product have favorable stats, conversion, EPC etc. Which can help attract affiliates.
