$100 and one month

Hi Warriors,

I've been thinking a lot about the people getting started in IM lately. People who want to learn what this is all about and want to get into the game, but don't have a lot of money to spend... Or don't want to spend a lot because they don't know if they can hack it.

I don't know what you think (yet) but from what I've seen and heard, this is a pretty common problem.

So I wanted to ask you guys - If you had $100 and 1 month - how would you make the most of it? I'm going to take the basics for granted here. Let's assume you already have hosting and at least one domain. With that assumption we can talk about real strategies... Would you go into affiliate marketing? Maybe create your own small info product? What?

I'll get the ball rolling with what I would do...

I would go into brokering. There are plenty of people (on either side) who need work and need work done. Take SEO for example. I personally know of a few forums where you can buy "sponsored links' on kick @$$ looking free Word Press themes. And their cheap! So when someone puts this theme up on their blog, you get a back link from them because you have your anchor text in the "sponsored link" section on the themes footer. It's a simple strategy a lot of SEO people use to build a bunch of back links with no effort.

You could easily find people who would pay slightly more (say $5 more) for you to do the work of talking to the programmer and get the link added. You are now making $5 for simply taking money from one person and giving it to another. Sure, it's not a lot of money, but do it a hundred times in a month (not hard since all you are doing is sending an email) and you've made yourself $500 for practically no work or effort.

As for the $100 - I've never tried doing it this way (so this is just speculation), but assuming there is no stipulation against it, I would probably spend $20 of a WSO telling people I could set them up these links.

If it works maybe run a few more WSOs with similar 'services'

That's what I'd do.... How about you?

If I had $100 for one month, I would not spend it on learning to make money because I simply could not afford that. It took me a year to learn because it cost $40..and I only handed over the 40 because I was desperate to make money.
