Say I have a mini-site and someone clicks my order button for a digital product I am selling. How did I attach that products file to the order button in order for the customer to download the purchase?? |

login to your paypal account. Go to merchants services/Buy now buttons and follow the steps & at the end put the code given by paypal to your website and you're ready. And the money can roll in now ![]() All the best, Adam |

1.I followed the instruction to place an order button from paypal. I copied and paste it look nice but when I click on the order button nothing happens...Do I have to activate something for it to operate? 2. How do I ad the choice of colors. Let say someone order one of my product and it is in 4 possible color choice, so how do they select the color.. Thanks P.s: I forgot to mention it is not an instant download. It is a physical product to send by mail. |

At the buynow button page, choose: Add drop-down menu with price/option add the color options, you can set up shipping cost etc. 1:I think you haven't set up something right. Start it from step 1 ![]() I'm sure it will work |

You have to contact your provider for their HTML code to load onto your site. You have to click somewhere when you are in the Edit Mode on your site where it says HTML to paste the code from your provider of your button. |

perhaps you didnt copy and paste the code correctly? Or try to upload the html file (the one where your code is attached), and then try to click on it again. Try from scratch again, copy the most basic code, and see if it's working. Good luck! Cheers, Oki Trice |

I'm good on the button. What I was asking is when someone clicks on it how do they get the digital product? Where do I upload the file so they get it when they purchase?

You have to upload the download page to your webserver , and give the url of your downloadpage at the advanced options at paypal "button maker". And copy&paste the code again |

If you're using PayPal with no other third party script like Linklok or DLguard, simply log into your paypal account and go to the area where you make buttons. In the return field of your button code, you'll want to specify a thankyou page or download page that paypal returns your customer to, after they purchase. This is where the link to your product is located. The problem most people have, is that unless you encrypt your button code, it's easy for the dishonest surfers to read the source code of your buy button, read where your download link is located on your website, and download your product without paying you. DLguard and LinkLok both work in conjunction with PayPal, and sometimes other payment processors, to hide the location of your download link. There are other features than that, but I hope that explains things and opens up more options for you. Grant |
