Various lists of free press release websites for link building are easy to find on this forum and on the internet in general. However, nobody seems to talk about their exposure.

I'm curious which of these websites are actually followed by people and used as a source by other (bigger) news / media sites?

    Most of these websites are spammed to death, as every press release seller is using them. Of course the sellers are also using premium press release websites, but the majority is free.

    That being said, I don't think many are following these websites.
