I just put up a website focused on New York City No Fee apartments. NYC is a market where a majority of the time the tenants need to pay the broker's fee however some buildings the landlord pays the fee. This site's goal is lead generation so that I can convert tenants to use my services free of charge and I can collect a fee from the landlords. Note to Moderators, I'm not allowed to post links yet. This is in no way an attempt to advertise this site. I assume not enough people in this forum live near manhattan. I am a newbie looking for help increasing my signups and conversion rates. it is www dot newyorknofeeapartments dot com I Started a google adwords campaign last week. I've gotten these results so far. Last 7 days Clicks 232 Impressions 274,914 CTR 0.08% Avg. CPC $0.24 Avg. CPM $0.20 Total Cost $56.34 Is a .08% click through rate any good? Also, my primary goal is to capture people who visit my site. I haven't implemented a pop under yet. Are those that much more effective? I've gotten 9 signups so far off of those clicks. I'd appreciate any feedback on my stats and how I could improve the conversion rate on my site. Thanks, Jack |

Your ad probably isn't good - doesn't offer a self-serving benefit... and your site probably doesn't offer some "you'd be crazy not to grab this" offer - like an exlcusive report about how to get an apartment in NYC for 30% under market value. |

I can't speak on the statistical performance, but I would make two minor suggestions: 1) Proof read the page a bit tighter ... too many errors that impeach the credibility of your information 2) May be way off base with this ... but I'd try getting your form in a sidebar. something about having the forms repeated in every post kind of sours me ... Good luck with the site. Very interesting niche! Robert43 |
