Affiliates - where to find them?

Hi Guys and Girls,

First time posting so please go gentle.

I have a number of publishers in various sectors who have asked me to manger their affiliate programs. Most are with one or two networks. But two of them (one financial trading, the other jewellery) want to go alone with their own tracking software.
Now I can make an attractive program, manage payments and all the dull stuff.
But where would I find affiliates willing to go off network?

Any links to forums/recommendations/advice gratefully received

Many thanks

Pat

What about finding popular sites in the niches you need and contacting them? Course need to approach with care and respect. Might be time consuming, should be targeted. Probably going to get many no's or no replies, but only takes a few.

This seems like the best way, for sure.

Search high volume keywords in the various niches and go through the highest ranking results and contact any that appear to be an affiliate site or someone who you think would be open to it.
