Newest sales tactic - "I don't have a copy, but . . ."

Morning all. I'm just reading through my email that came through the night, and am astounded by the latest promotions for CBQuantum.

I have several emails from various marketers who are promoting this, but claiming something like (heavily paraphrased):

"I haven't seen a copy of the course, but since the author is very successful and you're going to be pounded with other people promoting this, I'm promoting it too, and here is my bonus if you buy through my link."

Is this ridiculous, or what? So now these marketers aren't even claiming that they got a secret peek at a review copy and can attest to the fact that the most brilliant underground secrets have, in fact, now been revealed.

Is this a CYA attempt in case the product is crap? Or is it just lazy and greedy, not wanting to miss out on the latest launch even if they haven't seen whether the product is worthwhile?

Isn't this disrespectful to their loyal email subscribers who depend on them to share useful and worthwhile information and products? I know many Warriors have posted over the last year or two about how many email lists they've unsubscribed from due to the marketer promoting certain products. I've also unsubbed from many. I guess I have another batch to go through.

Thoughts?

Susan
