I'm curious a bit about how much for your first revenue from internet? and where it come from?

My first revenue was $280 by selling a website since 6 year ago.

After that, I sold over 20 websites to get revenue, it's interesting for that time

Although now I don't sell websites any more but focus on internet marketing to get stable revenue.

what about you? any shares

I made $0 in 6 years. I am total failure! All you get is theory teaching in here, no one actually tells you the technical things you have to do, they tell you build a squeeze page set up your follow up emails, but how do you actually do it???

This is just an example, i know how to do that, but i don't know how to set up a profitable sales funnel, therefore my earnings have been $0 from list building

My first cash was from PPC on TVs pointing at UK Amazon pages when it was allowed. Made about $400 on first day but spent about $300 on clicks - was still very happy though ! Could have gone very, very wrong as I didn't set a limit and it was a very popular TV. Problem was although Amazon was always cheapest they often went out of stock half way through a campaign.

Got me hooked though - money without actually working

      • First earned €250 for completing 100 general 300++-word articles in 15 days at the now defunct www.write4euros.com. This was in 2005...

Then, was paid US $125 for a 1,000++-word tech article at www.constant-content.com. This turned into a four-digit-USD contract as a telecommuting tech writer of the ICT corporation that bought my 1,000++-word tech article from www.constant-content.com, and went forward after 5 months to a five-digit-USD trial contract for a subcontractual offshore team arrangement with the same ICT corporation, which then bought www.constant-content.com...

This grew to a much longer six-digit-USD contract for a bigger offshore subcontractual team arrangement with the same corporation, right after they established RevenueWire Inc. Powering Your Digital Transactions...

This then multiplied into trial and long term four-to-six-digit-USD contracts for small and large offshore subcontractual team arrangements with other ICT companies and corporations, which recently expanded to trial and long term four-to-six-digit contracts for small and large offshore English and non-English voice and non-voice tech support subcontractual team arrangements with both old and new tech startup and ICT corporate clients...

The date was 04/17/2003 and I made $9.95.

From the $9.95 I had to pay $6.69 to register his domain name, plus spent 20 minutes creating custom graphics for the photographer's website.

This was my first customer for my new "Do It Yourself" hosting company for models and photographers iModel dot com.

This very first client is still with iModel at $9.95 per month.

Since 04/17/2003, I have helped 17,123 people setup their own websites - but I do remember that day with tremendous fondness - when the very first $9.95 email notification arrived via 2CheckOut.com - spectacular!

Cool thread! I started in Adult around April 2011.

Bangbros PPS program was (and maybe still is $30)

Minimum payout was $50 so I met minimum payout and as soon as I did I was hounding my affiliate manager about it! "So when am I gonna get it?" etc etc. Oh man that's so embarrassing to remember. They must have thought I was so ridiculous.

Still, it's funny to reminisce on how great it felt to open the mail when that $60 check arrived. Today, I can't even fathom getting excited over one $60 check.

It's been a while, but I think the first check I got was for articles I'd written for $5 to $10 a pop. If I remember correctly, it was for less than $100. I went on to make a little bit of money off of a lot of hard work on Amazon affiliate sites and Google Adsense. The biggest check I got the first year was from Adsense. It was around a thousand bucks that had been made over the course of the entire year. Still, it was enough to show me it could be done and led to bigger and better things.

a Big Fat ZERO for months, overwhelmed with information overload then i started building 2 sites and 2 articles per week with a friend and by the end had 110+ niche sites this was almost 10years ago making money from adsense and selling ebooks on the backend. Until Google unleashed the zoo animals and lost all revenue almost overnight. Biggest mistake was not building a list and having a mentor.

5 years ago. About £150 where I just referred people to a website, took me about 20 hours worth of work and cost me about £20. As I was 13 years old then I think that was decent amount. Now I am starting to write my own content, starting my own website and going to see where that takes me.

I made my first $100 filling out surveys and free offers. Then I made my first passive $100 from affiliate marketing and list building.

In 2009, my first sales online totaled about $3,600 in one day. I did a product launch for a product I created and made 29 sales at $127 ea.

I probably spent just shy of $11,000 before launch date. And hell if I know how many hours.

My second year I grossed about $46k, and only spent about $40k. So all told, I probably made about $1.63 an hour.

By year 4, I figured out that I built the business wrong, but more importantly, I realized I built the wrong business for ME.

My big take-away from my early days...

Start with a plan that you know works. Find a path that works for YOU (if you hate writing for example, probably don't start a blog). Then find other successful marketers who have taken that path to the top, and follow the path they've laid out for you.

And DON'T SPEND MONEY! Successful IM ventures can be tested and started and grown from very little - or even ZERO money.

Diving in head first because I had a pocket full of cash definitely hurt me early on. I started running before I learned to crawl. When I hit obstacles, I wasn't prepared, and sometimes unable to overcome them fast enough.

Better initial planning and less money would have prevented this.

97 cents. It was how much I priced my first WSO. Built my list. Increased the price to over $5/$7 to attract affiliates afterwards.

    This was back in 2001.

Last month, sold over 1,200 copies of my latest, Social SEO Leapfrog.

I started my online earning attempts in wrong ways. Yes you guessed it right, I joined PTC, paid to read mails, auto surf, manual surf, paid surveys and all sort of nonsense things because I was total newbie at that time. After wasting 1 year of my time I realised that even if some of them pay for real it does not worth my time.

So I shifted my focus into learning the skills related to IM like google adsense, seo, link building etc built my own websites and then started to do freelancing. I am glad for making a wise decision as I have never looked back after that. I have helped lot of clients and at the same time made some money for myself. Earning few hundred dollars per month in addition to my full time job is not bad.

My first earning in freelancing was 20 $ (which was the minimum amount for any project in elance) few years back.
