The fun about some WSOs!

There are so many WSOs with quite great revelation but some are really crap

Think about it ...

You have a method that makes for you $500/day, why sell it out for $7? Isn't that weird?

We love WSO and we love buying them but please try to bring out some real quality in it

Because you want to build a bigger email list of buyers so you can turn some of them into lifetime customers who buy everything you put out later on.

    Now you know.

Let's assume you're selling 100 copies per day. Maybe you are signing up just one person per day who will eventually generate $500 in income, or more.

So many people teach "smash and grab" techniques, that most people are unaware that the real value is satisfied, repeat customers.

Could be something that once worked insane but now not as effective and being "passed off" as the next great thing in an attempt to squeeze the last drops of blood from it...

Or... A genuine way to over-deliver so as to create a great foundation with your buyers out the gate with a low ticket offer that leads to bigger profits later on.

    What's weird about it?

It's logical for anyone to want to increase their earnings.

Step in your local bookstore or even Amazon and you'll find lots of 'how I became rich' books for businesses people who are undeniably rich. I'm talking about people like Alan Sugar, Richard Branson and the like.

The books sell for a few dollars, but they're still additional earnings for these guys. Not only that, they're increasing brand awareness and customers can come back for more.

What do you mean with "we"?

You buy it and distribute it?

Or are there 10 people sitting at your computer with you?

Some WSOs deliver great value - some don't. It's your job to decide wether you can use it or not. Most of the time there are enough reviews in each thread and if you're around here for some time (I saw you joined 2011) you'll know which ones are fake or real.

I still buy WSOs to this very day. Most are really cheap and a good idea or some golden nuggets really can be worth the seven bucks ;-)

I'll grant you the point that some WSOs are crap.

Regarding your second point on WHY someone would share their $500 per day method, let's talk about the elephant in the room that very few people want to talk about:
    • There are some WSOs that teach people to create WSOs by reading a few WSOs on a certain subject, then creating your own product in your own words. That doesn't necessarily mean they're bad, but it does open the door to that possibility (yes, there are some that are bad).
    • In my experience in this business for over 15 years there are some marketers who flat out lie. They'll spend like $300 a day on paid advertising, make $350 and tell people "I made $350 a day!". No, they didn't, they made $50 (even less when you include other expenses).
Now that we've got that out of the way, there ARE marketers who are smart business people because:

    1. They have expertise in something and they know they can generate an EXTRA income stream by sharing that expertise.
    2. Some marketers genuinely get off on helping people who want to help themselves. They are addicted to getting those emails and video testimonials on how their work changed someone's life.

People said the same thing when I released a WSO last year

Honestly, I released the WSO out of boredom more than anything. My income was (and still is) all passive, and I just needed to do something to feel useful

Maybe they need to raise their prices from $7 to $500. Would that make you take them a bit more seriously?

        They may...

During my student years I used to be in an amateur theatre group and once we decided to go and perform in a remote village. While debating what price tag should we put on the tickets, we thought it would be nice to offer a cheap "affordable" price.
An old actor who was mentoring our group and happened to be originally from that village, told us to forget it: "If the peasant thinks your ticket is too cheap, he will conclude your show is worthless and will not buy it!"
