Anyone else waiting for them to start it up? It's past the time of the release!

Plus all the hype that almost EVERY SINGLE newsletter I've signed up for is sending me an email telling me to check it out >_<

From the jv mail I got about an hour ago:

Sorry we've been delayed getting the sales letter up, but we did
literally bring down our server farm at 3.

No worries though, we'll have it up shortly. We're HOPING for 4:30.

STSE 2 has been in the member Library for months.... In April I think. In fact, it just got an update. I don't get the impression anyone is mad at all.

The time for the open release has been delayed from 4:30 to 5:30 instead.

I've just watched finish the video and it seems to me that the only sales pitch is for their magazine.

This is like what Frank Kern did when he did a pre-launch.

Well for anyone who has watched it is it more for beginner, intermediate or experienced SEO and is it worth the original asking price?

You're referring to the Stomping the Search Engines 2.0 video course, right? If so, it started out with introductory info so its great for newbies because it walks all the way through it. But also digs into the technical side, more aggressive strategies, etc - so in my opinion its great for all levels. I would consider myself Intermediate (enjoy great success with SEO already, but know I could do even more - but have never ventured into major blackhat - thus labeling myself Intermediate). Anyway, I got a lot out of it myself.

The retail price is $497 and you can buy it outright if you prefer not to get it free in exchange for a trial of the publication. I'm not sure if they are going to keep it on the market like that, or only during this promotion for The Net Effect. Anyway, worth it? Gosh yes! I'd pay $500 all day long as an investment into a consistent increase in income.

I just went to StomperNet Live6 (their live event for members, tho I went as a guest) and the tips I picked up made a difference within a week. I've already doubled my blog traffic and tripled my opt-ins using a strategy I picked up from Jerry West's presentation. Not rocket science, but an AHA moment that got me over a little marketer laziness for sure.

Dan Thies is awesome with his keyword strategy talks too. The one word I walked away with from him was "intent". Again, not rocket science, but it changed the way I *think* when I'm doing keyword research - fresh perspective.

Worth it? Definitely! Grab it while its free I cant wait for everyone to get their package and then hear some feedback. Be sure to try out the step-by-step strategy on page 14 of The Net Effect too. Its by Sherman Hu and very, very cool.

Lynn thanks for the response it was what I was looking for for STSE2.0. I am more at an intermediate plus level but would hope the course could offer some tips or tidbits. I focus just on al natural search and front page of google for many niche terms.

I think the price with the mag is not bad at all and if it is not what I want well it can be canceled.

                      Thanks again for the responce.

Most welcome. Sounds like you're a lot like me. That being the case, you'll probably enjoy The Net Effect just as much if not more. Some really good step-by-step on more advanced strategies (not the same old recycled marketing tips). Dig into it when it arrives. I think you'll be impressed.

I have a full FAQ on the free offer at my blog, by the way - if you have any questions. A couple of StomperNet faculty members have replied there too. Also, if you find "back to the newz" post at my blog, I have a link to one of the pieces in the premier issue - something to chew on till you get your copy *wink*

The impression was that stompernet members would basically be getting all these products for free, while the outside world paid $1500 or so (similiar to SMARTS).

STSE was a big part of year 2 of stompernet. I wonder if the members are kind of pissed taht they are now giving away a course that has essentially used as a carrot for people staying in stompernet for the 2nd year.
I don't think any Stomper member mad at all. I don't.. We do still have more advantage inside the Stompernet... Ahh.. Where is the order button!! I keep getting email from ppl.

Just over 5 mins to the "new" launch time. Any bets on whether they're going to push it back again?

First it was launching @ 3 PM, then 3:30 PM, then 4:30 PM, now it's scheduled to launch at 5:30 PM.

This is probably a new "tactic" (anticipation, anyone?) designed to increase response. I'm betting it will be pushed back again to 6:30 PM.

Just summarise the vid for those unable to watch it.

Quite a lot of waffle, basically finishes up with

You get STSE2 for "free" if you pay the shipping costs & subscribe to their $40 a month SEO hard copy magasine.

Seems reasonable I guess based on their credentials. Whether the mag will be able to offer anything over and above what's available online generally is hard to determine.

Wow, you're experience with him must have been way different than mine. When I met him, I felt like he was overwhelmingly... "happy with himself" and not at all quiet or shy.

Brad on the other hand seemed a bit more relaxed and quiet.

Backstage kinda guy LOL - that made me smile, knowing Andy personally. He is so gregarious and such a cool person. He really captivates when he talks - whether he's speaking, or talking to you one on one. You cant deny his obvious enthusiasm and sincere dedication to his company, that's for sure.

Being a JV partner, I got to see a personal video message from him yesterday. The fact that he'd been working around the clock and broke a sweat more than once was pretty obvious.

It's AWESOME. I was floored when I got my review copy and flipped through it. I have a video review on YouTube if you want to see some of it yourself (youtube.com/lynnterry). You'll love it Very step-by-step with screen shots & resources. Not just "how to" talk and a lot of concept - but detailed strategies. My kinda thing!

I would say these guys have too much to lose from a credibility perspective to give a flying crap about the odd $40 mag cancellation.

I can't see them making it awkward, bottom line you can cancel by calling your credit card company anyway.

        My 2 cents..

I assume that they assume that going thorugh all the phone procidue
may be too annoying of overwheling for some and they'll stick around for
a few months until the find the energy to give them a call... really sneaky :/
