Here's the easiest mistake to AVOID on Facebook

I reach out to a TON of entrepreneurs on a regular basis.

I love em. They're my favorite people.

But as we know, there's that saying: "Marketers ruin everything."

I find this pretty hilarious because it's usually true.

Some marketers ruin the most important thing of all, RELATIONSHIPS, within .5 seconds of chatting with them.

You see, when I reach out to people, I don't have any "end goal".

I'm looking to meet a new entrepreneur and connect with them so that we can both teach each other awesome stuff.

I'm not thinking "golly gee I hope they join my opportunity."

But some of the "marketers" I reach out to are thinking just that!

So when I introduce myself and say hey, they think it's the right time to open up and start pitching their business like crazy.

This is one of the worst mistakes you can make.

Here's how to make lots of sales on Facebook...

...don't think about making sales.

It might sound silly, but it works.

You need to think about meeting new entrepreneurs, forming relationships, learning, teaching, and providing value.

That's IT.

Nothing else.

If you come at it from the angle that you want to "get people in your business" you'll sound pitchy and lose people forever.

Show that you're real. Show that you love. Show that you care.

And that will bring you the results you're looking for.

Shout out to my mastermind team for teaching me this kind of amazing yet obvious stuff every time I talk to them.

lol can you get this off my thread? It has absolutely nothing to do with what I was talking about and you're just spamming about music that you made while I'm trying to provide some value.

Pretty ironic that right after that post about being real and forming relationships somebody comes in with some unrelated spam. I guess the lesson didn't quite sink in. lol

To the OP yes relationships can be good and I don't think we should constantly be trying to turn people into customers. Sometimes people forget that having contacts is good whether they are paying customers or not.

Yup, I totally agree! And actually quite hilarious that I have an example to point to about how NOT to market that happened within SECONDS of me posting this thread lol. Can't believe it, but hey, some people just like to shout all day and get bad results instead of listening and providing value

      tbe...

I think maybe you asked that guy to post that hilarious music thing on your thread to because it totally illustrates your point! Just Kidding!

But, in all seriousness, I totally agree with you. I get a rediculous number of emails each day and there are just tons of posts on fb everyday. I really don't check about 90% of it but I always make sure to check emails or posts by the people who I know provide value and aren't just about making money off of me everyday.

This works on and off facebook...Online and Offline too.

    99% of the time...

Concentrate more on helping others, solving their problems and building a relationship with them. The money just rolls in, NO questions asked...

The other 1% of the time, are when you try to help others, but they don't want to help them selves...

    Holla!
