Best places to advertise with very little money live fiverr?

I have a website and I'm having trouble driving free traffic to it and I want to use about $5 to advertise and get at least one sale then I will be on my way. Since I can use about $5 fiverr sounds like a good option, what are some gigs you have used that you got good quality traffic from and a sale or two? I would really appreciate your help.

I would advise against using fiverr to get traffic if you're looking for sales. In my experience (and from comments I've read on other threads) traffic from fiverr pretty much never results in sales.

Same thing for cheap traffic purchased from eBay, etc.

You may want to be a little more specific in your post. Let people know what niche you are in, whether you are selling tangible or digital products etc. Best answers will come from people who have tried doing something similar to what you are doing...

    Hope that helps a little

Traffic from Fiverr is useless. It's mostly bots or junk traffic from people who will never buy anything.

You need targeted traffic. Go for quality, not quantity.

There are plenty of ways of getting free traffic, but you'll have to go out and get it.

Commenting on other blogs in your niche is one.
Submitting (worthwhile) posts to StumbleUpon is another.
Put a link to your blog in your signature in forums.
Depending on your niche, you can try for some SEO if you do it correctly.

    Etc.

5 dollars worth of paid traffic resulting in at least 1 sale. That's not easy. I would say it's overall a bad plan. Don't set yourself up for failure.

You need to spend 5 dollars?

Send me 5 dollars. Then go get all the free traffic you can stand from facebook. Problem solved.

Your budget is going to hurt you... If you can write try writing some articles for someone, and also do some articles for yourself to drive traffic that way to build your budget.

Fiverr will provide you with traffic as promised BUT there is no guarantee that these traffic will convert into sales.
    Just my 2 cents opinion.

I say change your thinking and consider how you can attract real people that would be interested in what you have on your site. They are out there and if you can't find them then that is already a problem. You need to think more about where to find these people before even starting a traffic strategy.

    hi,
You want traffic and at least one sale that's a joke you have to put some more effort start blog posting or forum posting or you can also hire someone for this and if you can't do that then take your $5 and buy a burger.

IMO It's the same deal as Fiverr. I've never used it before so can't really comment but from what I've heard you aren't really hitting a target audience with facebook ads either, and sometimes a lot of the new likes that you get is just fake profiles or profiles that don't really interact, it won't necessarily be worth it. You may get lucky though and someone who is interested in your product/page may eventually convert to sales or adsense revenue, but don't expect too much I'd say.
