What would you do if . . .

You were starting from ground zero, no money in the bank
Bills due in 30 Days (let's say 5k)
You had a computer (borrowed, so you can't sell it :-))
You had an Internet connection
You had 3 to 4 hours a day
and you could only do ONE thing for the next 30 days to make money?
#what would you do

Haha I believe he's trying to ask what's the best way of making 5k in 30 days. There are quite a lot of this type of threads around.

Both have missed the point. The issues as I see it for many starting out is that focus and misinformation seem to be very large barriers to being successful in IM. So the question is base on if there were only ONE thing you COULD do (focus), what is it that you would choose.

It's not an issue of the 5k so much, it's a question of all of these things that you COULD do, which would be your #1. I would hope that there would be a number of unique and interesting answers, understanding different skill sets and experience.

I already know what I'm doing, I'm just interested to hear about others here.

    Thanks

Focus, hmmm I know I just wrote something about that...lol But if you had 3-4 hours a day, I would brand yourself... Go out and get in front of as many people you can and have meaningful conversations with them. Conversations that will help them out in some way. You may not make anything now, but I guarantee you will be paying it forward, and the rewards will come back many times over.

A very interesting answer, and one I would not have expected at all. This is exactly the reason I think the question is intriguing.

    Thanks

Thanks, I thought about it a while before I answered, and for long term success it is the one that made the most sense.. We all know there is no get rich quick program that works. I would hate for someone to make the 5k by accident and then never be as successful again because they didn't build something with a solid foundation...

Exactly! That's the key, it really does have to be something that you can continue with and build off of.
