any advice on making a good sales page?

Anybody have any advice on making a decent sales page? I just launched my first product, i am still fiddling with the sales page, it feels a few things are missing from it but I dont know what. I do have a link in my sig if anyone wants to take a look and critique.

But what are the most important things to get across in a sales/landing page?

I really could do with some help.

    Simply put:
    Define a NEED
Introduce the solution you've found to that need
Outline 3 benefits the solution has that solves that need

Keep it simple and engage your target market.

      Read Brian Keith's copywriting book.

Have you considered the layout? Copy? Headlines? Consider going for the "Wow effect"... I usually focus on how the landing page looks aesthetically. But of course not sacrificing content as well...

I won't claim to be an excellent copywriter, but I have advice that's potentially more valuable.

Make a few variations of your sales page... and split test them.

That way, you'll have data that nobody else can give you... data that actually determines the effect of varying sales page styles.

Just my $.02, and hope it helps
