Twitter Autofollower Research Loophole

Step 1: Open Up Google.com

Step 3: Insert the "Secret Google Code"

Code: (copy the entire string)

site:twitter.com -m -explore I will follow you back

Do you know exactly what this code does?

If not, I'll explain it in detail for you
in just a second.

Step 3: Click Search

This will bring you the list of all folks on twitter, who autofollows
new followers. Just follow them and you instantly get followers
in return. follow follow follow...

You can use other phrases, like "I will follow you back" to discover
others. Tweetlater users sometimes welcome new followers in
their tweets by listing all names with a string: "welcome
new followers" or something like that.

They're mainly searching for you using keyword based automated tools....right?

Why not just figure out what keywords your target market is likely to search for in automated tools, tweet using those keywords in your tweets...and let them come to YOU and then auto follow them back so they don't unfollow you.

Its a whole lot less hassle.

I completely agree that this is the best way...the most socially responsible if you like...but its not the fastest if your goal is to increase follower count.

The largest broadcaster in Ireland has a handful of followers compared to me and they churn out content 50 posts a day written by journalists.

It really depends on what you're after.

Seems to me you might be just getting a bunch of people following you and you following them just to have big numbers, but not particularly targeted followers.

Seems like a lot of work! I'd rather do this on Auto-pilot. Feed my Twitter has worked the best for me so far. I have a list of quotes (2 pages) including a couple of posts with links to my blog. The only thing you have to put up with is part of their TOS includes them posting one of their ads every 50 posts. I found they post more than that but WTH, I get a post every 10 minutes (you can set this for whatever) day in and day out. The benefit of this is people almost always retweet my quotes and I get more followers.

Getting followers can be a slow process. Getting a targeted follower is slower. Eventually your followers become more targetted after time. But you have to do some work. I unfollow people who post every 5 seconds or mass post, I unfollow the whiners who complain about spam, unfollow the porn sites, and unfollow the ones who constantly post links to CB products. The result is I keep followers who like my posts of motivational quotes and don't mind the occasional offer. Now if I'll just break down and spend the money for an autoresponder I can start my list. :-)

I guess the flip side of this is, if you want to gain alot of followers, write something like (I will follow) in your Twitter profile or tweets and Google will pick YOU up when all these people start using this technique and they will all add you.

Kind of saves you the hassle but gives you a similar result
