Hi all,

Is buying Facebook likes a good strategy to grow your online presence? Is there any chance of your page be punished by Facebook?

And can you suggest me the best site (with the better prices) to buy this service?

Thanks and Best Regards

You can find stuff like this on fivver. I don't think you will be penalized. It will be more so the fact of them being real people/profiles, as well as if they remove the likes at some point, then it is all pointless. Nature of the beast though for buying likes. Likes help boost your presence.

Buying likes is a strategy used by both onliners and off line businesses to boost their presence. It's very tough at this stage to determine how many 'likes' you need to translate to sales, but if you're simply looking to bolster your social media image likes will get the job done. And so far FB hasn't really penalized anyone I know for buying likes.

nobody will like to like a page with 0 fan. You need few hundreds fans to get started.

You can get it cheap at fiverr.

I personally don't like the whole idea, i'd rather see these grow organically. One thing I've done in the past is host a contest where people need to like your page to enter, I personally like this better then just buying likes.

I would highly advise against making "likes" the focus of your Facebook strategy. "Likes" are NOT customers -- they're not even opt ins, and my testing has shown that a Facebook like to a business is worth less than 5% of the value of an email opt in. I'm definitely not in the highest tier of Facebook advertisers, but I spent over US$6,000 on Facebook ads last year, and have done extensive split testing.

My current advice to my clients regarding Facebook advertising is to drive traffic to a landing page on your own web site and build your list through a free offer of some sort. You'll pay more for clicks this way, but you'll build a far more valuable list.

Some people will tell you to run your Facebook ads to a landing page inserted as an app tab on your FB page. What I've discovered from this approach is that the vast majority of the clicks to that landing page will NOT opt in, but rather just click the "like" button that appears on that page. As already mentioned, those likes are WORTHLESS.

I definitely make money from my Facebook ads, but I've never made a single dime from my page likes. I simply wouldn't suggest wasting your time or money on Facebook likes.

Firstly you have to realize that the "likes" are not real human likes irrespective of what the sales page says. But the reason you might want to consider that in your business is because, it helps for social proofs.

Which facebook page wld you rather like? the one with 10 fans of 2,000 fans? The answer is obvious. So it helps to boost social proof and so it is a good strategy if that is your goal.

    Hope this helps

For me, facebook like is for social proof on my site. People tend to opt-in for offer that with thousands of like. This can increase your opt-in and conversion rate.

Interesting. In my testing, I have found this to be an absolutely irrelevant factor in my opt in rates.

you can buy them on fiverr.

however they will be automated (not human) and I remember they was talk a while back about google being able to recognise un-natural spikes in "likes" and could possibly penalise against it. Not sure how true that is but I remember the the talks about it.

    thanks
