Help for paypal india

If any indian is there please do reply.
I recently got my PAN card and I have a indian Back Account with same name.
Its a Indian Back Acaount.

Can i be able to sign up for Paypal. I mean can it be Verified. Please tell me the process.

    I got a mastereo Card.

    But while sign up there only visa,credit card or master card option. Can it be approved in mastereo.

      Yes you can verify yourself using your Indian bank account ,a little long process.Maestro will not help ,since it is debit card i think

    But paypal says it accept debit card but only visa debit card i thnk. There is no option written there for mastereo.

      I already said Maestro will not help you .You can verify using your bank account .

    Add your bank account, not your card. The card isn't gonna work.

    You can also apply for the normal Visa Debit Card through your bank (I think it's an SBI account, right?) and then try adding that, though adding your bank account might be all you need to do.

      I verified my paypal account without any card,just linked my bank account with paypal and then they deposited some smaller amount to my account and I verified it,but that was three years back.Also if you want to buy something through paypal using your card,it's better to have a credit card.I tried with debit card which didn't worked.

    Hello,
    You just have to get verified your bank account and PAN card to withdraw funds from Paypal.No debit card works with paypal to pay.I tried several cards before.Only Credit card works.Moreover you can't add funds to paypal,you can just pay via paypal.

      That's incorrect. A MasterCard or Visa Debit Card works perfectly with Paypal.

      I have that added in my account.

      The part about not being able to pay with Paypal balance / add funds to Paypal is true - you have to pay with your card added to the Paypal account.

        Its still confusing.I failed when I tried to buy products from merchants outside of India using VISA debit card with paypal.That's why I applied for a credit card.But one of my friend said he has no problem using his debit card with merchants outside of India(But his card is from a different bank).
