How to promote on ClickBank?

So I choose my product, but how do I then promote it? Buying ads on Google is a little too pricey for me at the moment, and submitting articles to eZine, Squidoo, and HubPages doesn't seem to work too well since they aren't picked up by Google very much anymore.

There are many ways to promote Clickbank products.

Facebook ADs, Build a list, PPC etc etc etc the list goes on and on.

I think what you need to do now is do some study and research on traffic generation. Master that, and you can pretty much do anything you want

I use my own site to promote clicbank products. But I'm very selective about which products I choose and they have to relate to my site

Could you elaborate on this? I was thinking about creating a blog or similar, but how would I drive quality traffic to it?

Start by building a list. "Money is in the list"

Create an optin/landing/squeeze page. This page's primary purpose is to get leads. Give something away for free, an incentive to get the lead. It can be a report on the niche's subject, or a PLR ebook, anything with quality content.

Focus on driving traffic to your optin page. There are many different free or paid ways to do this.

Once you start building your list you can drop some clickbank offers in the emails. Just don't spam your list. They signed because they wanted some free information. Provide them with some valuable info too.

This is just some basic stuff. There's a lot more to it, but this is the general idea. I had a rough time before I started list building.

    Thanks Ken!

Very new to this. I thought squeeze pages were actually to sell the product then and there. Thanks for the clarification.

I've had success with a few methods,

Facebook ads: Don't link directly, have a landing page inbetween
SEO'd website: You can make a very specific blog and write 10-15 articles around your product.
PPV: Pop ups work real well, especially with competing products

      ~ Good luck

They could be for a direct sale, but usually I like to capture the lead so I can keep in contact and promote many offers.

I agree with Ken that squeeze pages are for lead generation but don't be afraid to promote a product straight off the bat (as a ty page).

If the incentive is related to the product, you'll have a better chance to score a sale. And if they don't buy the first time, remind them in a later period.
