How many ads do you post a day on CL to get results?

Just wondering how many post does it take to get results (free ads) on Craigslist to get results?
When I had money I'd post in the paid section, however money is low and now I'm doing free ads.
So, those of you who have success on CL how many ads do you post a day to get good results? Many a lot of leads in your auto responder and sales?
I posted today 6 free ads and got only 2 leads...

    There are so many variables involved that it would be truly impossible to answer your question. It is very subjective. Can you lay out which niches you're targeting? Maybe a snippet of the ad copy?

    When posting to CL for the IM/MMO niche,

    I get about a few opt-ins from 2 ads a day.


    I usually post to the computer section

    because the people there are technically oriented

    which for some reason gets me a more responsive audience.

      Well then if the niche is MMO,

      you should be getting a pretty good number

      of prospects to market to.


      Your sales funnel process should look like:


      Squeeze page > Sandwich page (Free Valuable Content) > Offer


      Simple. Basic.

        I have a great sales page, great offer, I just didnt' know how many should I be posting a day. Its 7 too low or do I need to post like 40 a day to see results??

    I tested cl by posting 2 ads every day and I got 2 leads

    I just have 1 ad in every major city with a music scene and keep renewing them every few days. I get some visitors this way

    Of course, I use this as only one source of traffic and that is what I recommend. I'd suggest you have a list of about 20 sources of traffic that you go through and work on each week.

    Using just Craigslist is not effective because you will eventually get blown out of there as a spammer. They have so many controls in place to prevent mass submission.
