Suggest an Affordible Web Video Creation Service

I've been tasked with finding some to create a simple web video for our company.

I've called several agencies in my area who are quoting anywhere from 6k-15k. This is crazy for what we need.

All we want is a 2min or less web video with some images, animated text, and a voice over. We are supplying the script.

I'm considering just doing it myself using a video creation tool.

Anyone have suggestions for a service, individual, or online tool to create the video?

      This is something you can certainly do yourself.

      There may be a bit of a learning curve, but much of the tough work has already been done: you already have a script. And you probably have the images...

      Plus once you learn how to do it once: you can do it over and over again.

      You can now add video creation to your Internet Marketing Tool Box...

      I'm sure the 6K-15K video, is worth every penny...but why would you (or anyone else) pay that kind of money when you can learn to create a simple video yourself.

      A very small price to pay to learn video and become part of a video community of like minded Warriors....

    You can also check out screencast-o-matic if you want to do it yourself. Free service. Capture as much or as little of your screen as you wish, and/or use your webcam for a picture-in-picture effect so you can basically narrate as you're highlighting portions of your screen.
    Of course you can simply record a video with your computer's built-in software, then use this product to record that and edit as you see fit. Enables you to store to your computer or publish to youtube. Quite effective.

    Oh and I just recalled that google hangouts is another free tool that enables video recording, screen capture, and all the goodies. Plenty of editing options. Instant publishing to youtube. So there's another option.

    Well, Fiverr would be one way to go. The only problem there is that actual quality could be hit or miss (eg, you get what you pay for). Maybe odesk or elance would be slightly better yet still affordable options. Hope that helps.
