get this to increase your "credibility" -- Huh?!?!

Just saw a video saying part of the package are some PRE-MADE "testimonials" (ie: fake) -- the vid then says this is a great way to "increase your credibility."

Huh?!?!

So, I guess murdering the witness is a great way to "increase my innocence."

I've never understood this; REAL testimonials are so easy to get if you have a solid product or service. SMH.

I get plenty of testimonials for my products and services by asking people for honest feedback. Sometimes it's as simple as putting it in an autoresponder sequence and asking for honesty feedback.

There was a well known marketer that pushed some software back in 2009 that generated testimonials for JV launches etc. That was one of my first "wtf" moments in the IM world, but sadly the industry continues to surprise me lol and (the product was promoted to the marketers list which included me, a newbie at the time LOL )

Reminds me of famous people who would have their assistants sign photos for them to be given to their fans. Some fans sadly cherish those fake signatures just as some unknowing customers take the legitimacy of those testimonials for granted.

Some people will buy it. No doubt about that. But fake testimonials won't do anyone any good. People can feel if you are lying and if they can't tell, they will sense that something is 'off' and stay away.

Well, it is something that has sadly becoming a norm in IM circles. We all know that when we read the sales letters of all those WSOs with very convincing graphics & copies, almost all the time, the screenshots of earnings and testimonials are fake. But oddly enough, we're still influenced by them.

LOL I wouldn't suggest trying that one, it might land you in hot water. Totally agree though about your point
