For awhile, I had a small offline telemarketing biz... I can help.

    Here's a solid plan:

A: Call, fax, or email 100 health insurance brokerages and tell them you are an independent lead generation specialist. (Best to call).

B: Tell them you will gladly produce 5 customized exclusive telemarketing leads for them in an effort to earn their business...

You will get a yes before you have made 10 - 20 calls.

C: If your leads are solid, they will gladly advance you $1,500. per week for 50 more leads per week. Some will even order 1000 leads per month... if you can handle that kind of biz.

The going rate is $35.00 for telemarketed health leads (check prices on industry leaders site http://www.theleadtree.com ), so if you charge $25 for your leads, you are a shoe in, especially if they have a good experience with your test leads.

You will already have favor because you offered to earn their business without just immediately asking for money.

D: Do a 20 lead test run (5 leads apeice)for four different agencies. You will have more biz than you can handle within 3 days.

Once you have gotten the business:

1: Get on the phone using a custom leads list from Mailing List - Sales Leads , Telemarketing, Business, Consumer - GoLeads and start calling prospects.

    Here's the basic pitch:

A: We are giving out free health quotes want one?
    B: Any major health issues?
C: When's the best time for the agent to call you with your free quote?

    2: BAMM you're done!

Easiest telemarketing gig in the world, you can churn out 10 a day by yourself and make $250 a day. There are much better Ideas I'm sure but I will eat my hat if this doesn't work for you.

    LAST RESORT:

If you dont want to go get your own contract then just email this guy:

    Al Diberedino: al@vipfinancialgroupus.com

Tell him John Durham sent you.

Al is a friend of mine who runs an online telemarketing room that does the same thing as above, I met him back when I had mine. You can make $500 a week easy with Al as a telemarketer and more if you are steller.

He always needs new Talent, and will set you up with an auto dialer work station that you can operate from your home pc at Zero cost. You just have to perform to stay on.

Honestly, if you are here at the warrior forum, this is probably not what you are really after though, because it's really just another J,O.B., only from "home".

However, it IS an excellent intro to the lucrative Lead Generation Industry!

    Good Luck.

Ps. The lead Tree is also a BPO company so they will subcontract work to you if you have a small room, I have gotten some good contracts through them in the past.

These are just basic ideas that work. With a little creativity you can revise these orthodox telemarketing business plans and taylor ones that are more to your liking.

Like for instance creating an inbound call center by canvassing prospects through voice braodcasting...some industries it doesnt work for but it does for things like Insurance lead generation, and also mortgage refinance offers...

Lead generation is good because everyone has a financial oriented product to sell, but they are desperate for people to sell to. They all agree that most internet leads suck , so they love exclusive telemarketed leads and are willing to pay...

    Hope this helps.

As a agent that's been in the health industry since 2002, I will agree that everything that is said here is completely true. I actually know Al, and he's a solid guy. His dialer program is pretty cool...

I have an outsource telemarketing company and I do quite well with it. In fact, it's where I earn most my income It's my bread and butter. I have had to tweak my business several times though because the market has changed a lot in the last year.

Telemarketing can be very effective IF you have a highly targeted list AND exercise lots of oversight of whomever is doing the outbound calling. On one occasion when I outsourced a TM project, it was a disaster because I didn't specify enough milestones and reporting.

What kind of telemarketing does your company do...? I used to be so passionate about my biz, but my enthusiasm for the industry just kinda fizzled out finally.

I still have one "virtual" telemarketer that makes me around $250 - 300 bucks a month though... basically pays for my starbucks habit!

    Great tips and advice.

One thing I can mention is to just be careful if you go at it on your own with the "Do Not Call" rules in place. A company I worked for in the past hired a bunch of telemarketers and didn't scrub their list and came into a lot of fines.

Just make sure that the numbers you call have been "scrubbed" and OK to call, and all will be well.

If calling businesses, no worries though.

Yeah B2B calling isn't bad for that however, if you buy your calling list from salesgenie, go-leads, info-source, or several other good places, they are all what they call "pre-scrubbed" against the national do not call list.

Goleads is the cheapest and they are just as high quality as any other.

Also you can rent a virtual auto dialer work station for $99.00 per mth from Leads, Lists and Dialer Solutions and be dialing away from home, burning through 500 numbers a day without dialing, listening to answering machines, ringtones... it's about 60% more productive than manual dialing.

      Hope this helps.
