I'm looking for a simple tool I can use to create video intros/ outros for youtube videos. I would like to find something easy to use maybe web-based. What do you guys suggest?

Flixpress Website video creation - create high-end video and animation online in your website browser has some good free and paid options and is an easy to use online service.

You can also make some pretty good animated intros with PowerPoint.

Proshow Gold/Producer can do some cool things.

Another option is to search for "free video motion backgrounds" or "free motion backgrounds" and then add text over them using your favorite video editor.

  yes flixpress is the way to go.
  have a look at this simple intro I did for one of our sales pages (closed so nothing to buy)

  The intro was done with a Flixpress template and completed in a matter of minutes. Dead easy to use and cheap
