Google Feedburner

Need some help here

On one of my Wordpress 2.7 sites I cannot get my "Feedburner Feedsmith" plugin to work. I might add that on all my other sites everything works fine.

Anyway, steps I've taken are: plugin installed and activated; created the feedburner feed; logged into my Google Feedburner accoutn where all my feeds are grouped under one log in name; told Google to "Burn a feed right this instant"; and at this point, I get the dreaded 404 page.

why? I've checked to make sure this particular site wasn't redirected and that everything else is operating as planned; and that the site is fully accessable via the internet with both the "www" prefix and w/o it.

My frustration level is high and I need some professional from you Warriors!

Have you checked your 404 logs?

If you look at your RSS feed of your blog, thats that look normal?

Took a look at my cPanel, under "error log" and found these messages:

[Fri Jun 5 08:03:25 2009] [error] [client xxx] File does not exist: /home/xxx/public_html/404.shtml
[Fri Jun 5 08:03:25 2009] [error] [client xxx] File does not exist: /home/xxx/public_html/robots.txt

The "xxx's" are mine for privacy.

The point is, I believe this is saying that the domain I'm installing Feedburner does not exist ???!?!

Also, in looking in my addon domain folder all is well as far as the listings go.
