How do I recruit authors for a multi-niche blog for free? I'm trying to set this up so that I can focus on SEO and promotion of the site itself. I have an outline of the topics needed to be covered. I can offer free backlinks and job references. Is that enough to incentivize authors to write for or submit to my site or what? Never done this before. My first time "hiring" people so I could use some help. I want to grow this into a full time online magazine. **P.S. I'll be recruiting authors locally (including college students) AND online. Thanks. |

I'm don't know the subjects you are looking to cover of course but you could try looking at some forums related to your chosen topics and then see who is active in those forums and seems to be knowledgeable and then you could approach them and see if they are interested in say writing a report about your topic. Say you are looking for an expert in that chosen nice and would like to have a report written and often these people will be happy to share their knowledge for free. Outside of the IM niche it is easier to find people who will write a report about a topic that they really like rather than the IM area where people are looking for money making ideas. Try it see how it goes. John |

Free backlinks would not be a good incentive because in the time it would take someone to write content for you, they could just go out and get a whole bunch of backlinks themselves. A job reference online = a testimonial. That means you just want to work for free? I think the best incentive for a writer to write stuff for you would be to give them money.

Why in the world would someone with marketable skills and talent write for your money-making enterprise for free? Am I missing something here?

i would say go to amazon.com to find expert authors, but good luck finding a real author to do anything and not be paid. As suggested earlier try forums.. Is it possible to find articles already written on your topic and just reproduce it with the authors permission? It'll be free... |

Hi, To get your blog going go to ezinearticles.com and choose 25 (that is the limit) articles and place them on your blog where you want them. Don't forget to leave the resource box in tact. Now, email each author and inform them you have published their article and tell them to feel free to come to your blog and post more of their articles. Do the same with quality articles from other directories. You are willing to give up link space so the links back to EZA should not bother you. You can have a few hundred quality posts by the end of next week if not sooner. Notice which authors are posting and if they ignor you take down their article and replace them, contacting the new authors "I'm using your article here, I invite you to post more." I'm doing the same thing with my blog and it shows up number 3 or 4 for my key words. My best to you on your project. George Wright |

Dealing with multiple authors for ads can be done with one banner or one 125 box. Just use an ad that rotates each authors info with every page refresh.
