I have been working IM since February of 2005 (mostly for other people) and am finally going to give it a run on my own. I know that I am not going to get rich over night, I am not looking to launch some extravagant new product, I understand that I may not see much, if any, return for a few months and I am ok with that.
I just launched a new site (link in sig) and have just begun to work on the standard backlinking and promotional stuff necssary to gain some recognition. In an attempt to get a decent push of traffic and content on my site all the forums (including WTS, WTB, WTT) will be free to post in for the time being.
Also, once a week (probably on Sundays) I will be selecting one of the forum posts to be featured on the main site as a blog post (with full credit given to the author including a link to their site). In addition to the text link to the author's site, I will be giving the author a minimum of 28 days of free ad space in my header banner (where the 468x60 Aweber banner is right now). At any given time there will only be a maximum of 4 banners rotating through the header and once I have four winners none of the banners will be mine.
Even though there are quite a few other sites I have lurked at in the past, I have learned the most by far from this community and so for that reason this offer will only be open to members here. In order to be considered for the spot please do the following:
- Make a forum post in any of the informational forums (not WTS, WTB or WTT)
-PM me on my forum with your WarriorForum username and a link to the post you made on my forum.
- PM me here in the WarriorForum with a link to the post you made on my forum. (Sry for the double work but I want to make sure the WarriorForum posters are the ones taking advantage of this).
I will make a post every Sun / Monday in my Main internet Marketing Forum which includes the winner for the previous week as well as a link to the post on the blog and the start and end dates for their banner spot.
Now I know that there is very little traffic heading to the site right now but it will not always be that way and I have no intention in the forseeable future of removing the opportunity for WarriorForum members to claim the top banner spot. Also, as I mentioned, the winning authors will be getting a MINIMUM of 28 days so if traffic is slow and I don't find a post to feature in the blog every week, there is a chance that the 28 days will be much longer...especially in the beginning.
