It is pretty Impossible I know but at the same time it is a must have information to know which convert what...
Here is my question:
It really frustrating me tracking my sales as an affiliate
of course we can track our conversion rate, optins, clicks, subscriptions,...etc with Adtrackz gold (for example) BUT...
but I can not find any way to track my SALES as an AFFILIATE
of course if the product was mine, i can track sales by tracking my thank you page of my own product
BUT what about when i am promoting products as an affiliate ?
the problem is if i am running many solo ads HOW can i know which one ended in sales and which one not ?
i mean: if i am running solo ads that all of them contains the same back end product (as an affiliate)
so ?...
I would appreciate any suggestion guys

Offer a bonus to anyone who buys. Have them send you their PayPal receipt as proof, you give them your bonus and add them to your buyers list.

Some affilate platforms like JVZoo have this feature built in.

Yup Jvzoo will parse their emails automatically if you are using get response with single optin enabled.

It can be done with Google Analytics and here's a great tutorial on this (not mine) from Matt Woodward How To Track Anything With Google Analytics

If you read the post, he is trying to track affiliate SALES not affiliate CLICKS. Since he cannot put Google Analytics on the sales page (which he does not own), he can't track sales.

This is a common problem for new marketers who are selling affiliate products and not their own.

They can send traffic to an opt-in and capture leads but once they send that traffic to the sales page, they have no way of seeing or tracking sales.

Offering a bonus gives people incentive to buy through your link as well as return and give you contact information to get the bonus.

Since this bonus method is most popular in IM, it is built into the JVZoo interface. Affiliate sellers can add their own bonuses to an offer and have it automatically tracked and delivered by JVZoo.

Most solo ad providers allow you to append a tracking code to the end of your promotion link, and provide a reporting system which shows click throughs. This may provide some indication of how well the ad may be pulling.

Also, if you're promoting Clickbank products, the tracking, bonus delivery and list building can all be automated with an excellent software I've been using for several years:
CBListAutomator: Automated List Builder and Bonus Delivery System

For other affiliate programs (such as Amazon*) you can add a subscriber field to your sign-up page such as transaction ID that customers fill in after making a purchase.

        * With Amazon, you need to be careful to not in any way "incentivize" purchases, or you will be banned. Instead, offer something like a "white paper" or relevant product manual as a free addition.

I knew there was something like that.

LOL My neighbour is a crazy internet guy and he says the 'wave of the future' is 'kick back' sites that offer 1-2% cash back on purchases through their links. Shaved from their affiliate commission of 6-8%.

thanks man, you got it right I am not looking for tracking affiliate clicks cuz any tool out there can provide you with it but I am looking for tracking affiliate sales, and as you said since I can't ask the vendor to put my Google analytics code in their HTML thank you page THEN the only way is to promote JVzoo products OR clickbank since they BOTH have tracking IDs feature not sure about clicksure or Commission junction though...

I have one question about affiliate programs. Almost all of them ask you to create a tracking ID & I haven't seen an affiliate network that tracks the very links you get clicks and sales from except Moreniche and Peerfly. In more niche you do not need to create tracking ID ( though You can) but when you make sales, it reports to you the exact page from which you get the clicks and sales.

Not many people talk about it, but nearly everyone does it. Even the large affiliate programs are CAT'ing sales.

They justify the skimming of sales to balance out the percentage of people that call back and immediately cancel their order after purchase. I've seen sales CAT'ed up to 15%.

If you're going to use the 'offer a bonus' method, make sure your bonuses are actually of real high quality value. Not just a bunch of freebies anyone can get on the Internet.

And thanks for that Clickbank affiliate sales tracking info. With that kind of info, you can drop your marketing that doesn't work and just concentrate on your marketing that is profitable.

Where are you promoting the product from? Is it Clickbank/JVZoo? Are you receiving commission if they buy the product? Cause if so, I would think the place you are promoting it from, gives that kind of information. Please insight me if I have misunderstood you.
