Item purchased but not received

Hello, I am new here but wish to contribute. I wonder if someone can help me. I brought a $197 product in the WSO section but I am not getting any response from the seller. Of course, I now know I am unable to reply unless I have enought posts. Please can someone advise me.

How can I get the product I puchased please?

    Did you receive an email confirmation? Should have the product creators email there I usually send them one with my receipt number if I don't receive my product, hasn't failed me yet. -Matt Disario

      Thank you for posting such a polite question and avoiding assumptions

      If you are unable to locate an email address for the seller, you can give his forum name in this thread or a link to the WSO and one of us will direct him to this thread for you.

    Yes, I have received paypal confirmation and sent him the transaction id three times via email. Still getting no response. But the seller should also be able to see it in their paypal account. Do you think I am being ignored?

      Warrigolder, the transaction id given to the buyer is not the same transaction id given to the seller. Isn't that something! So the seller cannot find YOUR transaction number on his list of payments at his paypal account. The mind boggles at this...

      Hope this gets settled quickly for you...

    Hello Diane, sorry I am bit confused. "the transaction id given to the buyer is not the same transaction id given to the seller" but I only received one transaction id from Paypal. This is the one I passed to the seller.

    Please can you guide me to a correct transaction id?

      I find it much easier if a buyer sends me their PayPal e-mail address. Those IDs are a royal pain. E-mail address is an easy search and I can quickly find the transaction.

        Well, for a $197 product the seller may just prefer to deliver it manually. Perhaps the seller is away from his computer or asleep, I would give it a few hours and see what happens.

        Pretty sure the seller you are referring to has been around for awhile, so don't worry....you did not get "scammed".

        If someone was ripping people off at $197 a pop in the WSO Forum, they would get found out pretty quickly.

    it make sense for the id to be same. Otherwise, how can payments be tracked. I do not necessarily want to give him a bad name though, although I am very frustrated, I just need his attention that I have paid for the product but not received any correspondence. I know he has been online because I see servicing other customers.

    I will wait for Kay King to get his attention...

    Kevin Riley, email address was also given during correspondence.

    Ministe Nerd, it is a downloadable product which is receiving 'live' thank you's. The seller is online regulary since he is acknowlwdging the 'thanks'.

    It is has been a few days now and I have taken into consideration the time zone. Hopefully someone can alert him that there is a sad customer waiting for the goods.
