Trying to resurrect a abandoned blog

Hey guys,

I'm new to marketing, but I run a dating/relationships blog. Over the past couple years, I've posted several articles.

The blog has very little traffic. My stats say "Average successful requests per day: 498" which appear to be subscribers to my RSS feed. I'm unable to login to FeedBurner at the moment, but last I checked there was 30-40 subscribers.

I've got a lot of content waiting to be published. Podcasts, interviews, and a full eBook that is well over 70 pages and I want to do this RIGHT. I'm doing personal coaching and want to put advertisements for it on the blog.

I have also registered two other domains because I wanted titles that are more clear and relevant to the content of the blog so that the user will have an idea of what the site is about before even looking at it.

(My niche is targeted towards guys looking for dating advice specific to meeting girls through social circle, turning friends into girlfriends, and more focus on the making friends aspect to meet women)

I never bothered to test first (as I'm learning, big no-no) the keywords for the domain.

QUESTIONS:
  1. Is it worth keeping my blog even if the name is not keyword relevant if there is some traffic to it (very little)? Should I try to salvage it or start again?

  2. If I do re-launch the site, should I put ALL the content up at once, SOME of it, or post one article at a time (that way I'll have content to last me for a long time without needing to write)?

I'm a bit confused, frustrated and in need of help from the gurus, so I VERY MUCH APPRECIATE ANY HELP!

Thanks in advance, guys!

Older domains tend to do better than brand new domains in Google's eyes. I've found this is more important than having an exact keyword match in the URL. For example, look at Plenty of Fish. So, I'd recommend you keep your current domain and treat it like a brand name.

As for doing the relaunch, I'd gradually add in the new content at a quick pace. If you have 70 or so articles I'd do 2-3 a day for a week or so and then taper off. I'd also recommend doing a lot of promotion and link building to promote the new launch.
