When surfing on your phone..

I wasn't really sure where to put this so here is where it will be.

I'm in a given niche that I seem to like pretty well and making a little money at it now. So today I'm looking at my stats in analytics and see where 64% of my visitors are coming to my site on their phones with another 5% on tablets.

My question is this.

When viewing sites on your phone, do your prefer the mobile version, or is the desktop version?

Personally that's a tough question for me ...

I think it depends on what you offer inside your mobile site

When I use paypal or I need to click and call my insurance the mobile version is great on my phone, but when I need to look at a more in depth site like my utility bill or my school site, I can't access what I need via the mobile site and need to run a full site. So I think it depends on the site and services offered or mostly used.

Yeah, it really depends on what I'm looking for, and wheather or not that information is available on the mobile version of a site.

If that info is available via mobile, then I perfer it.

Most of the time I prefer the desktop version. The mobile version always seems to be missing what I'm looking for.
